Rezoning Sign and Letter
You may have noticed a sign out in front of Southern Oasis regarding a planned rezoning by the City. You might also receive a letter in the mail.
The City Planning Commission stated that the sign was part of a "city initiated" rezoning of Southern Oasis from R-1T to R-1.
Mike Sigg reached out to the City and reiterated that the consensus of SOPOA members was that the subdivision not be re-zoned due to unintended adverse impact on the properties with little, if any, benefit.
The city has agreed to drop the re-zoning.
The sign should be coming down and you should disregard the letter.

Monday Morning Breakfasts 8am - 9am. For $4 per person, breakfast is available from an alternating weekly menu. Sign-up sheet is in the clubhouse, and you must sign up by Saturday. Bring a drink for yourself if you don’t drink coffee. Everyone is welcome.
Tuesday Social Hour - 4pm - 5pm
